Commenting limits increased to 20,000

As teams grow and projects become more complex, feedback can quickly pile up, so Webflow has increased the comment limit to 20,000 comments per site, with up to 50 replies per comment, giving teams significantly more room for in-depth discussions. In addition, you can now share comment-only links, allowing clients and collaborators to leave feedback directly without needing to log in, ensuring all comments stay centralized in one place no matter who is contributing.

Page Specific Access Control

Building on CMS access controls, Webflow has introduced page-specific permissions, enabling teams to define exactly which pages individuals can edit so they can contribute content to designated areas without needing full site access. This strengthens collaboration while maintaining governance, reducing the risk of accidental changes and creating clear ownership of page content. There is also anticipated development around locale-specific access, allowing users to edit only certain locales, although this has not yet been officially announced. These features are currently available exclusively on Webflow Enterprise plans.

Claude & Webflow

With Webflow now an official connector to Claude, you can design pages, manage CMS content, and structure your site just by asking Claude. It helps teams create and update CMS collections and fields, handle bulk content changes across multiple collections, and keep content aligned with your intended structure. Claude also supports design system maintenance by auditing class usage, converting values to variables, and standardizing naming conventions for long-term clarity and maintainability. Additionally, it can apply custom code and attributes and incorporate stakeholder feedback using comments and screenshots, making it easier to implement and refine changes directly on your site.

Client Access

Following the deprecation of the legacy editor, Webflow now offers client seats for free on all Workspace plans for freelancers and agencies. Client seats allow you to invite clients directly into Webflow to edit content, build pages, or provide feedback, with role-based access that lets them contribute without full design permissions. This update represents a significant step toward a flexible, no-cost collaboration model for service providers managing client sites within their own freelancer or agency workspace. Client seats are site-specific, with the number determined by your plan, and can be assigned different roles as needed.
