Lead the Creation and Execution of Paid Media strategy: This is a hands-on role and you’ll need to be able to design and deliver a paid media strategy with a particular focus on PPC and implementation for our clients and potential clients. Working with clients to ensure that they meet their goals and targets with knowledgeable advice and expertise.
Budget Management: We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail who is comfortable with numbers and managing clients’ budgets independently.
Revenue generation: You’ll be responsible for maximising the opportunities for our existing Paid Media clients, ensuring that we deliver great value for their budgets and that we make recommendations for their strategy that will provide mutual benefit.
Building the Paid Media portfolio: You’ll look for opportunities both internally and externally to pro-actively grow our Paid Media portfolio, to ensure that it continues to be an area of opportunity for our agency. This will include supporting with new business forecasts and client pitches.
Account Management: Providing outstanding account management for Paid Media - tracking, monitoring, and analysing activity and results to demonstrate impact and return on investment for our clients and assist our Account Management team in the broader relationships they have with clients including client calls and meetings.
Supplier management: Be the point of contact with key suppliers including Google and Microsoft to understand the latest product developments, BETAS, and drive client performance forwards.
Thought Leadership: Acting as our AYKO thought leader in this space - working with other members of the team to share knowledge and improve their understanding. Acting as a thought leader externally to build the AYKO brand and awareness.
Mentoring and management: With this role, we’re looking to develop a team and are looking for someone with the skills to train and develop a future team of paid media experts and someone who is a real leader.
Process management. We’re looking for someone who can improve the efficiency of our current service and can improve and build upon our current approach.
Whilst this role is a stand-alone role currently, we’re looking for someone ambitious who is ready to build a team. As your portfolio grows, so will your team and we’d love to be in a position where this role oversaw a sizeable team of experts in time.
At AYKO we’re currently working with a combination of remote and face-to-face working. Whilst this role will be based out of our Leeds city Centre HQ we’re flexible on remote working providing candidates can travel to Leeds once or twice a week if needed.
Agency experience, or an agency background - having managed a portfolio of multiple clients - building confident, commercial relationships across a number of different brands
Strong organisational skills. We’re looking for a self-starter who can manage their own time independently with support from the Digital Marketing Director.
Commercially driven. We’re looking for people with strong business acumen with a proven track record of developing paid media accounts.
Have likely spent at least 4-5 years in a PPC or paid media role previously. However, years of experience isn’t as important as knowledge for this role
You’ll have an interest and knowledge in broader digital marketing and enjoy working as part of a multidiscipline team. Wider paid media experience is desirable although the main focus of this role will be on PPC.
You’ll be ambitious to build a large team and be confident in your leadership skills
