We’re looking for a Paid Media Manager with strong PPC skills who can help us grow our agency.

AYKO is on the lookout for a PPC/paid media expert who’s looking for a step forward in their career! With this role, we’re looking for someone who wants to build their own team of paid media specialists with support from our Digital Marketing Director. This role is working towards a head of paid media role, we’re not expecting you to know everything about running a department but someone with a strong paid media background who’s looking to accelerate their career with the right support. We’re looking for someone who knows’s their way around Google ads and understands PPC and is ambitious and wants to build a team.

We’ve designed a programme to support the right person with the knowledge, training and tools to thrive within this role. All of our team receive individually tailored training plans designed to help them progress their career at AYKO. All that we require is the right person with the right mindset with a hunger for long-term success and evidence of strong paid media experience.

As a key part of the Digital Marketing team, you’ll be the lead for our paid media services. You’ll work with a portfolio of existing clients as well as building our portfolio and growing our revenue opportunities.

At AYKO we create and market high-quality e-commerce websites for well-known brands - we’re growing at a great pace thanks to our great reputation. We’re looking to scale our paid media offering. This role will be key to this, working alongside our Digital Marketing Director, you’ll have the freedom to use your expertise to shape up our strategy as your ambitions and our clients demand.

A Paid Media Manager will …

  • Creation and Execution of Paid Media strategy: this is a hands-on role and you’ll need to be able to design and deliver a paid media strategy with a particular focus on PPC and implementation for our clients and potential clients. Working with clients to ensure that they meet their goals and targets with knowledgeable advice and expertise.

  • Budget Management: We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail who is comfortable with numbers and managing clients’ budgets independently.

  • Revenue generation: You’ll be responsible for maximising the opportunities for our existing Paid Media clients, ensuring that we deliver great value for their budgets and that we make recommendations for their strategy that will provide mutual benefit.

  • Building the Paid Media portfolio: You’ll look for opportunities both internally and externally to pro-actively grow our Paid Media portfolio, to ensure that it continues to be an area of opportunity for our agency. This will include supporting with new business forecasts and client pitches.

  • Account Management: Providing outstanding account management for Paid Media - tracking, monitoring, and analysing activity and results to demonstrate impact and return on investment for our clients and assist our Account Management team in the broader relationships they have with clients including client calls and meetings.

  • Supplier management: Be the point of contact with key suppliers including Google and Microsoft to understand the latest product developments, BETAS, and drive client performance forwards.

  • Thought Leadership: Acting as our AYKO thought leader in this space - working with other members of the team to share knowledge and improve their understanding. Acting as a thought leader externally to build the AYKO brand and awareness.

Whilst this role is a stand-alone role currently, we’re looking for someone ambitious who is ready to build a team. As your portfolio grows, so will your team and we’d love to be in a position where this role oversaw a sizeable team of experts in time.

At AYKO we’re currently working with a combination of remote and face-to-face working. Whilst this role will be based out of our Leeds city Centre HQ we’re flexible on remote working providing candidates can travel to Leeds once a week if needed.

Our Ideal Candidate will…

  • Agency experience, or an agency background - having managed a portfolio of multiple clients - building confident, commercial relationships across a number of different brands

  • Strong organisational skills. We’re looking for a self-starter who can manage their own time independently with support from the Digital Marketing Director.

  • Commercially driven. We’re looking for people with strong business acumen with a proven track record of developing paid media accounts.

  • Years of experience isn’t as important as knowledge for this role - but it’s likely that you will have spent at least 2 years in a PPC or paid media role previously

  • You’ll have an interest and knowledge in broader digital marketing and enjoy working as part of a multidiscipline team. Wider paid media experience is desirable although the main focus of this role will be on PPC.

  • You’ll be ambitious to build a large team and be confident in your leadership skills
