Here’s the contribution this role will make to our business

  • Lead the strategy of our internal marketing looking to promote the agency to potential customers.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and support with creating content for our own brand including sales collateral, blogs,case studies and social media content.
  • Work with internal teams to create assets and manage the content of the agency’s website(s).
  • An analytical mindset with the aim of understanding how to measure the value of each strategy to ensure that we’re investing time into the best areas to promote our brand.

Here’s what we will be looking for on a cv

  • Experience managing the content of a website including managing blogs and CMS pages to ensure content is up to date, relevant and promotes the brand in a positive light.
  • Strong experience of social media management managing a brand’s social media image and messaging.
  • Project management skills, the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a project and the organisational skills to manage internal teams to deliver a project.
  • Team player. We’re looking for someone who has a strong personality and can immerse themselves in our business to extract positive news stories within the business and utilise this to build a content strategy.
  • Creative vision - we’re looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and can ensure we’re always true to our brand.
  • Analytical, we’re looking for someone who is results driven and knows how to measure the outcomes of their strategy and maximise efforts in areas that drive value for the business.
  • Strong organisational skills. We’re looking for a self-starter who can manage their own time independently with support from the Digital Marketing Director.
  • Years of experience isn’t as important as knowledge for this role - but it’s likely that you will have spent at least 1.5 years in a marketplaces role previously

Here are some additional skills which would be desirable but are not essential:

  • Experience of utilising Strapi/Webflow content management systems to manage content of our website.
  • Agency experience, or an agency background would be beneficial.
  • SEO experience - an understanding of basic SEO principles to improve our online visibility
  • Design experience - experience of creating visual assets to be used as part of a content strategy.
  • Video creation experience - experience of creating video content to be used across social media.
  • Google Analytics experience - experience of using Google analytics to track and measure performance.
  • Paid media experience - Experience of supporting content with a paid media strategy is desirable.
  • Webinar experience - experience of hosting and managing online webinars
  • Partner management - working with third party stakeholders to create co-marketing campaigns.

At AYKO we’re currently working with a combination of remote and face-to-face working and this role requires someone to be able to come to the office 3 days a week from Tuesday to Thursday.
