A CRO Specialist will …

  • Develop CRO roadmaps and A/B testing strategies with our clients

  • Provide Analytics-based site audits, highlighting areas of concern and make suggestions for improvements and enhancements

  • Have an in-depth understanding of CRO fundamentals and best practices, particularly pertaining to e-commerce

  • Effectively plan, prioritise and design & build A/B or multivariate tests

  • Clearly convey your testing ideas through concise written briefs and wireframes

  • Be proficient working with Google Tag Manager to create tags, triggers, and variables

  • Help support and mentor more junior members of the team with CRO, report proofing, and general management of UX/CRO output

A CRO Specialist will have …

  • Experience with data analysis and problem solving

  • Experience in quantitative analysis and research methodologies

  • A solid working knowledge of the Google Suite (Analytics, Tag Manager, and Optimize) including how to debug implementation issues with all of these

  • A working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/jQuery

  • Strong organisational skills; we’re looking for a self-starter who can manage their own time independently with support from the Creative Director

  • A good standard of English language and grammar

  • Confidence presenting work to clients and key stakeholders, including documents, reports, findings, and recommendations

  • A solid knowledge and understanding of e-commerce user behaviour

Other Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Working knowledge of GA4 (Google Analytics next-gen)

  • A solid understanding of the Shopify and Magento 2 e-commerce platforms, including a working knowledge of the admin/backend areas

  • Experience working across several clients/projects at once, feeding UX/CRO best practices to a team of designers and developers

  • Experience with qualitative analysis and research methodologies such as usability testing

  • Be experienced in leading smaller projects, feeding into design and development (SLA/BAU work)

Whilst this role is a stand-alone role currently, we’re looking for someone ambitious who is ready to build a team. As your portfolio grows, so will your team and we’d love to be in a position where this role oversaw a sizeable team of experts in time.

At AYKO we’re currently working with a combination of remote and face-to-face working. Whilst this role will be based out of our Leeds city centre HQ we’re flexible on remote working providing candidates can travel to Leeds once or twice a week.
