A Business Development Executive will…

  • Research prospects including businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets
  • Convert leads using the list of big Commerce sites within our CRM system (Copper)
  • Create and grow the prospect pipeline by contacting potential clients by phone and email and plan face-to-face meetings for the relevant department head / business owner to attend, to begin building strong relationships
  • Ensure all conversations are effective and leads are of a high quality to protect and maintain the AYKO brand reputation
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to pick up Marketing generated leads and turn them into qualified leads
  • Update, cleanse and enhance the data within the CRM
  • Work within the CRM to log all activity, tasks, calls and opportunities
  • Help to establish ‘go to market’ opportunities with the Senior Leadership Team
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to potential clients

Our ideal candidate will have…

  • A solution driven Sales background
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a business development capacity with a proven track record in outbound sales.
  • Commercial awareness with an ability to maximise opportunities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and will be articulate with a high standard of written English and presentation skills
  • High levels of organisation, with an ability to manage workload and priorities
  • Experience of delivering Sales pitches to clients
  • Ecommerce exposure

  • Self-motivated
  • Experience in the digital sector with an understanding of the services AYKO provides.
  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Great interpersonal skills, strong sales ability and a willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent time-management skills
